WAYS OF SEEING photographs by Elizabeth Benedict
I’m a New York-based novelist & journalist who takes photographs of people and other living things, from radicchio to my husband’s sleeping hand to a faceless woman’s bare thigh as she sprawls with her beau on a street in Miami. Some pictures are what I call “dipped in color”—manipulated using iPhoto features. For more about my work and life, please click here.
Below is recent work: photos of sea grass and palettes of grass for sale at Gayle Gardens in West Tisbury, Massachusetts, which I then manipulate. I include 3 photos of the grass to give you an idea of where I start. The manipulated photos are available in any size, printed on fine paper, acrylic, metal, or in a ThinWrap, all ready to hang if you wish. Contact me for details and prices.
